The Montgomery County Leadership Summit theme this year, “Character Counts,” will underscore the critical role our character plays in effective leadership. Speakers will emphasize the importance of integrity, honesty, and moral values that guide leaders’ decisions and actions. True leadership extends beyond skills and competencies. It is our character that serves as a compass of ethical leadership. The summit will aim to inspire attendees to reflect on their own lives and leadership styles, prompting us to ask ourselves, “What character do you want to be of your own life?” We hope this summit will encourage you to envision yourself as the hero of your own story, embodying the virtues and strengths we admire in leaders such as courage, compassion, and resilience. The summit will provide attendees with valuable insights, practical tools, and a network of like-minded individuals committed to integrating character-based leadership into their own professional journeys.
